Bio

Emma Janzen is the drinks writer for the Austin American-Statesman, the daily newspaper in Austin, TX, where she lives with her fiance and two color-coordinated cats. Writing about beer is one of her favorite activities, next to drinking beer, of course. Right now, her favorite styles are Imperial Stouts and Double IPAs; the more concentrated and complex the flavors, the better. Janzen has also written for Draft Magazine, Real Magazine, and Texas Architect, in addition to her work for the Statesman and austin360.com.
